From 2011 to 2023, I poured all of my sculptures at my home with equipment that I designed and made with the help of friends and family. The process is complicated and dangerous. It involves pouring molten bronze at a temperature of 2100 degrees. It is also expensive since the wax, the mold material, the bronze itself, and the gas to power the furnace and kiln are all somewhat pricey. That is not to mention the cost of the equipment.
